WIP Luz De Mar

A simple but beautiful IKEA Lamp....a "fairy" tiny idea ...and hopefully a "fairy " great result hihihi !!!!! I wanted to decorate this lamp i got from my husband (who works at Ikea ) with a polymer clay figurine... I went for a mermaid in 2 dimentions...

New inspirations ...

...ideas and inspiration always come when I less expect it ...they always appear to me in the middle of the night or while sitting in the bus or on my work ihihih ...So, when I cant work them out right away , I draw some sketches so I dont forget ......

My love for gouache paint ...

I guess I my must be the only fairy doll maker who paints a lot with gouache paint !!! I use the jars from Talens which are available in lots of colors , and availble in most local craft stores (in Belgium anyway ) and are not that expensice BUT remember...

Purple Rain Fairy

I was planning on making a fairy doll standing straight with a long skirt in polymer clay . Because the legs and feet will be invisible , I don’t need to sculpt them so I will create the lower body with skirt out of one lump of clay (1 part lower body...

My fairy house on a real Bonsai tree !!!!!

I’ve received from a fan an exciting challenge : sculpting a fairy house on a real bonsai tree . For this project I didn’t use polymer clay but “Apoxysculpt” from Aves ( www.clayalley.com). With this non toxic clay I was able to make a durable and waterproof...

second test / sculpting with grey air drying clay

hello, Here a second attempt on making a doll with the grey natural clay ...fun to work with but when it dries , it cracks .. a lot. I made a dryad female ona piece of wood ( branch) and I hope I will be able to paint her ..

baby birth gift is READY !!!

Incense gnome finished !!

I finally finished the gnome holding a sea shell which I would use as incense holder ...incedible how much work I got on such small thing hihih ... Normally I would burn incense cones but because I didnt have them at home I burned a piece of armenian...
